Join us for the day and learn how to use a traditional Peg Loom. Take home your creation and your Peg Loom.
We will show you how to use un carded sheep fleece to create a Peg Loom panel, which you can use as a seat pad, table mat or hanging decoration.
Your day will begin at 10am and finish at 2pm.
We will begin the day by learning how to string your Loom, moving onto weaving using pure sheep fleece. During the morning we will enjoy refreshments whilst weaving.
We will break for lunch at 12.15. Bring along your lunch.
Hot and cold drinks provided by us.
After lunch we will complete our projects , then we will finish the day with an alpaca meet and feed.
We will be working in our newly renovated cabin, so the weather will not affect our day.
All materials will be provided for you, including a 60cm Peg Loom which is yours to take home. We will talk through other methods of weaving on your loom using different materials, you will be inspired to create all sorts of items on your Loom!
Additional pegs and threader are available to purchase for £4.50 per pack.
This workshop is aimed at adults. Older teenagers are suitable, but not young children.
